R/K is a joint venture founded by Studio Krištof and Reichenberg Arhitektura in 2010 for working with clients outside Slovenia.
In past three years, R/K has been working in large-scale projects for clients from Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Croatia, and Mexico.
STUDIO KRIŠTOF
Studio Krištof has been founded in 2008 in Ljubljana, Slovenija by Tomaž Krištof after a decade of working for top architectural branches in Slovenia and abroad.
Studio Krištof works on vivid progressive architecture that both provides a sensible environment for well-being of its users and symbolizes the vitality of the society and investor that builds it. Tomaž Krištof has been invited to numerous lectures to present studio's work, including in Italy, Turkey, and Mexico.
STUDIO KRIŠTOF is a part of KEO (Consortium for sustainable architecture) and NEXT_20 (a group of young most forward-leaping architectural practices in Slovenia).
REICHENBERG ARHITEKTURA
Studio Reichenberg arhitektura was founded in 1990 in Maribor, Slovenia (Yugoslavija at the time). The founders were Bogdan Reichenberg and Ivo Žnidaršič who left the office in 1997.
Studio's basic activity is in the Maribor area. In the year 2004 Gregor Reichenberg, Bogdan's son joined the office. Atelier is working mainly in the field of low budget, social, residential architecture, but also in recreational, industrial, private housing, public spaces and public furniture areas.
Studio Reichenberg arhitektura represents contextual architecture, local vs global. Studio is working on many competitions and has won several awards internationaly. Among them are the Prešeren's fund award for architecture 1980, The national Borba award for Slovenia 1986, The golden coat of arms of Maribor 1991, Plečnik's medal 1998, Trimo international award 2004, The platinum pencil, Chamber of arhitecture 2005, Trimo international award 2007, Foot bridges for urban renewal award 2008, The golden pencil, Chamber of architecture 2008, The seal of Maribor 2010 and numerous awards in architectural competitions.
Bogdan Reichenberg received an academic title in 2008.
